LOWELL, (May 18, 2007) – The $3.9 million Campaign for the American Textile History Museum has reached an important milestone. We are thrilled to announce, that thanks to the generous support of our members and friends, we have reached our goal of raising $1 million for our endowment. The funds will be matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor at the Maine Community Foundation. Donations for the $1.5 million renovation to the Textiles in America exhibition and the $1.4 million general operating fund are still needed to complete the Campaign.
